Egg Substitutes. There are many egg substitutes on the market, but you can also make your own substitute using such things as tofu, mayonnaise or bananas! Our table explains how to use these items and more for a proper replacement. The incredible edible egg is called for in many recipes, and many times there just isn't a good substitute for eggs.

*OR* if you need 3 eggs and have 2, you can substitute 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch for the 3rd egg (*in baking only) | ||
Egg White substitute | 1 White | 2 teaspoons egg white powder plus 2 Tablespoons warm water |
*OR* 2 Tablespoons frozen egg white (thawed) | ||
Egg Yolk substitute | 1 Yolk | 2 Tablespoons egg yolk Powder +plus 2 teaspoons warm water |
Remember, when making substitutions for eggs be sure to measure accurately for best results. Some substitutions for eggs may alter slightly the taste, texture, weight, or moisture content of the finished product. Whether this is good, bad or indifferent depends on your tastebuds, but we've tried others and feel that these are the best alternatives in pinch.
